If your grass is dying it is almost most definitely because your mower is incompatible with your grass. i suggest that you first ring your mower company and ask if your mower is a multi compatible mower, and whether it is compatible with hot weather.

Also multiple canines could present a problem. If you purchased your dogs separately it is possible that the first one had already established a sensual relationship with your mower by the time the second dog entered the yard. At that particular point the dog often then begins a relationship with the second dog, and forgets about the mower. This causes the mower to become jealous to the point of insanity (especially in victors). Although your mower may seem docile and quite normal it may be taking its natural anger out on your lawn. This is a very serious problem and although doesn't usually get much worse than a few patches of dead grass, some very isolated incidents involving rogue mowers have cause the death of all surrounding life. The most serious of these incidents lead to the creation of the Sahara desert and the Ill Nino effect. These mowers are also thought to have seriously contributed to global warming. I suggest that you buy another domestic animal such as a cat or wildebeest to satisfy your mowers needs. if this doesn't work then replace your lawn with fresh grass. This will force the mower to believe that it's feeble attempts at poisoning the grass are completely futile and it may give up.

If you honestly believe that it is the urine that is killing the grass then buy the dogs a brand new Mercedes Benz to urinate on.

I have two dogs and a small back yard. Now that it's gotten hot, my yard suddenly has lots of dead spots in it. I suspect it's from their urine. Is there a treatment for my lawn that will prevent the grass from dying?
